California Trip

Well a few weekends ago we had a tournament in Cali and yes we drove.... On out way we stopped and practiced in Vegas. Just a little something about my coach, he loves to practice so every chance we can get into a gym so we always practice. Anyways after practice we went and ate at some random place. Then all of us piled into all 70000000 SUVs that we brought down and we were headed to the strip.... Which is a good and bad thing. When we got there we just started walking with our eyes not looking at the ground. So we got to this one spot where we decided to take a break and just chill. Well we had a dance-off, which swoosh white won, and were just having fun. Then Adam (the head honcho) said that we couldn't leave until we got 100 people to dance with us. So there we were trying to dance with like 100 people (which we did by the way...skill...). After our little dance fest we went to the M&N factory. That made the whole trip. All of us walked in and we were just looking around. On our way out we stopped to take the picture me, Stephanie, Lauren, and Mikial. Great times and I must say we had a little to much fun.


On our way home....the car ride home....I finally understood why Adam made us drive instead of fly...Team Bonding! So were in the car Me, Erin, Lauren, Mikial, Eternity, Steph and for the whole 12 or 15 hours (I cant remember) we did one of two things... 1) Jammed to music or 2) had "deep conversations" as we call them.
Rules for Singing:
1: If you don't know the words to the song...sing a different song
2: Sing with all your heart and soul

Rules for our "deep conversations"
1: When there is a weird silence because know one knows what to talk about ask everyone " whats your dream school?"
2: What is said in the car stays in the car!!!!

Needless to say we had way to much fun and not enough sleep!! Actually we stayed up the full 12 or 15 hours straight! :)
O and as for the basketball part of the trip all of the teams did great and it was a real eye opener to see what Basketball is like outside of Utah. My team, Swoosh Black, did great. We won 2 Lost 2 but the two that we lost were by 5 and 6. So pretty close games.

Cal

Well what do you know... I got invited to go to Cals basketball camp in June. I think that I will probably end up going which will be way fun. Its all weekend long and I think that we are staying on campus. Me and Dezz (who is a really close Friend that is on my team) and I think Britt Martin (who plays at Syracuse High and a friend) and i don't know who else is going... I am way excited!! There is this lady that is over it and she is a really good trainer and has worked with some of the top trainers and players in the nation, so it should be a good camp.

Letters and Such

Well another letter came in the mail today. This time from UNLV. " PASSION, COMPETIVE TOUGHNESS, AND PLAYMAKING ABILITY! We had the pleaseure of watching you at the Cal Classic. Out mission is to build and maintain a championship program at UNLV, while restoring our great winnning readition and nationally elete status. We want you to be part of something special!" Thats what is said... my dreams feel like they are coming closer and closer each letter that I get. I know that i have a long way to go but these letters just give me a boost of confidence.

Well I guess that i am now doing the blogging thing... I think that should be exciting. My goal is to write about my basketball experiences for all my friends and family to see :)
